Warning! This update can be used with mainboard revision 2.x only! Please check the revision of the installed mainboard. You can find the revision number behind the mainboards indentifier.
There are 2 ways to accomplish the bios update:
1. using a cd-image:
The zip-file A7N8X_1013ac.zip contains an image that has to be burnt on cd using Instant CD/DVD. Boot your system via the cd you just created and follow the instruction on screen.
2. using a floppy disc:
Extract the files from the zip-file A7N8X1013.zip to a bootable floppy disc. Boot your system from this floppy disc. If the boot process has finished, start the bios update by executing the update.bat on this disc.

SmartCard Reader DriveIcon Software (Update) This software installs the icons for the cardreader drives under My Computer.
Unpack the ZIP file, then execute the EXE file in order to install the driver.
Hint:
AntiVir identifies a Virus in the SCM software
1. The antivirus application Antivir falsely identifies a trojan in the program structure of the Icon-Installer Software. This is an error / a missinterpretation of the Antivir software. It is not a product fault of the Icon Installer software.
2. The Icon Installer software is not necassary for the operation of the cardreader. It works fine with your system without installing it.
3. The Icon Installer software can be removed from the system after the installation.
By installing this driver, media can be administrated with the cardreader more comfortably.
